An official press conference was held on Wednesday, March 20 to announce plans for the future site of Wagon Wheel Village, a 63-acre pedestrian and transit-oriented development.

Wagon Wheel Family Apartments, with 120 units of affordable housing, will be the first phase of a multi-phase development that will transform the area into a vibrant urban village including 1,500 units, over 50,000 square feet of commercial space and 7.4 acres of parks, recreation and open space. Completion of each stage will provide opportunities for shopping, dining, employment and housing, as well as alternative modes of transportation in proximity to one another.
